Bausch + Lomb, a global eye health company, has launched a new social media campaign aimed at raising awareness of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which is a leading cause of vision loss for those over the age of 50 and the leading cause of blindness for those aged 65 and over. The campaign, titled 'What Sight Inspires You', will feature personal stories and sights from Bausch + Lomb's SightMatters community, an online educational resource designed for people living with AMD, as well as educational content on the condition. The campaign will run on the SightMatters Facebook page throughout February. Bausch + Lomb has supported AMD Awareness Month for eight years and hopes to inspire others to protect their vision through the campaign.
