Sarah Houlton is the international correspondent for Pharmaceutical Executive, covering industry and regulatory issues around the world from her base in London. She is a freelance journalist, specializing in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Her background is scientific – her PhD in organic synthesis was sponsored by Glaxo, and she also worked for the James Black Foundation as a research chemist. Sarah was the editor-in-chief of Manufacturing Chemist magazine for several years and now writes for a range of industry publications in both Europe and the United States, as well as undertaking technical writing projects on behalf of several laboratory equipment manufacturers. She also writes about her biggest passion - soccer.
