Patients and professionals who want more information on breast cancer have a new resource on the Internet's World Wide Web.
At the end of last year, President Clinton launched the National Action Plan on Breast Cancer Web site.
The Web site, coordinated by the Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health, serves as a gateway to information on breast cancer research, treatment and prevention.
Some of the resources on the Web site include answers to frequently asked questions about breast cancer, as well as information on clinical trials and research, educational conferences, advocacy groups, publications, and government and private resources. Users can also initiate a search on the Web site to locate specific information on breast cancer.
The Web site is available in both English and Spanish on the Internet at http://www.napbc.org. PR
