OM Pharma, a Geneva, Switzerland-based biopharmaceutical company, active in the prevention of recurrent respiratory and urinary tract infections and the treatment of vascular diseases has won the 2021 Geneva Economy Award.
The Geneva Economy and Innovation Awards, created in 2012, aim to honor companies whose reputation and influence convey a positive and dynamic image of Geneva.
The independent jury noted OM Pharma’s economic and social policy. Aiming at the long-term development of the company, all its profits are reinvested in research and development (R&D) and the expansion of its Geneva site.
OM Pharma is a private company founded in Geneva in 1937. The company employs a total of 400 people, including 300 in Geneva and 40 in Fribourg.
