Effective February 10, 2025, Mamilli will assume global responsibility for the Informatics function for the Roche Group.
Roche has appointed Wafaa Mamilli as chief digital technology officer. According to the company, Mamilli will join the company’s corporate executive committee and will be in charge of the Informatics function, a role previously held by Alan Hippe. In turn, Hippe will focus solely on his role as chief financial officer. The changes will go into effect on February 10, 2025.1

Prior to joining Roche, Mamillii was the chief digital technology officer and group president of China, Brazil, and precision animal health for Zoetis and worked for over 20 years in a number of roles for Eli Lilly and Company, where she eventually served as global chief information officer. She holds a master’s degree in computer science from the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics in Rabat, Morocco, as well as a master’s degree in business applications of information and technology from Université Rennes in Rennes, France, and attended the advanced management program at Harvard Business School.1
